Born in Guadalajara, Jalisco and raised locally in the San Fernando Valley, Heriberto earned his J.D. from Loyola Law School, where he served as President of La Raza and trained at the Loyola Immigrant Justice Clinic, representing victims of crime seeking lawful status. His legal career began with a mission — to fight for those who often don’t have a voice — and that mission continues today, every time he steps into court.
